“Absolutely beautiful”

The best yet! We were blown away with this resort. Stunning rooms, ridiculously huge bath with timber windows that opened out to the lovely lagoon infinity pool. The staff are just lovely, very warm and helpful. We really enjoyed the location, and had a motorbike. We much preferred the shopping at Nathan to the madness of Chaweng. The resort is also close to a couple of lovely little beach restaurants - Pj's and Beryls Cafe. All in all I couldn't recommend this resort highly enough.

Our holiday to Mai samui has been our best yet! We were overwhelmed by our room which was just gorgeous. It had everything from slippers to thongs to THE coolest bath I have ever seen. The resort grounds resemble paradise & are well kept by the hard-working, beautiful staff. The swim-up bar was our favorite where I sampled nearly all of the cocktails! Food was delicious always. It is isolated but staff are willing to take you anywhere! We each had a 90min massage that was devine! Lastly, I wish to credit the staff, nothing was ever any trouble, the nicest people ever met and they were litterally there to serve you! My only problem is that I have to wait a whole year before I go back. Love this place!!!!!

Mai samui is located on the north west side of the island, about 15 minutes drive from Bophut, and 10 minutes walk from Natong. It therefore offers peace and quiet but easy escapes to restaurants and convenient stores.

The hotel features a beautiful lagoon pool, and a small beach. Despite an uncomfortable (very hard) bed, the room was beautifully decorated, and the hotel staff extremely helpful. We benefited from a special price of SGD 480 for 3 nights (average price of 160 per night), which was a real treat for the services provided.

Room Tip: Choose a room closer to the beach to avoid facing the hotel entrance lobby. The hotel features rooms...

Wonderful resort - surpassed expectations. Clean, comfortable, great views and excellent pool. Staff were so friendly and willing to go the extra step to make things perfect. Managed to fit in a few activities and tours as well as rest days around the resort and making use of the Spa. The only people who may not enjoy this wonderful resort would be those who wish to be at the centre of a town - but after a quick visit to Chaweng, we were glad that we were staying where we were. This has been the best holiday we have had for a long time and I would recommend it to anyone.

Fabulous place to unwind and relax away from the mayhem of Chaweng and Lamai. They are great to visit and Mai Samui is great to come back to. The staff are very friendly and the service is wonderful. All that can be expected of a 5 *. We hired a vehicle to see the rest of the island as we like our independence. There was available transfer to the town on a regular basis. Great pool, the beach out front not to great, snorkelling not far away was great. Recommend this to those who want a quiet place to unwind and relax.

Room Tip: on the water with great sunsets, no waves, and not really a beach..........but beautiful in it's...

Mai Samui is an absolutely stunning resort and I couldn't fault it at all. The grounds are beautifully kept and the pool is amazing. The rooms are a great size and spotless. The staff are the nicest that I had ever come across, always greeting you and smiling. The breakfast was a great start to every day with fantastic options and many of them. The prices of food and drinks are reasonable considering that it is a resort, my partner and I never paid for than 1000 baht ($30AUD) for a meal, including 1 entree, 2 mains and drinks. The location is quite far from all the action which I liked. There is a free shuttle bus to Chaweng, which is good but as soon as I stepped off the bus I just wanted to go back to beautiful Mai Samui! Overall it was a fantastic stay and I cannot wait to come back.

We stayed here for 5 nights and couldn't have been more impressed. From the moment we arrived, we felt thoroughly spoilt. The resort itself is beachfront, but the beach is more suited to fishing or kayaking than swimming. The huge clean lagoon style pools surrounding most of the complex more than make up for the lack of swimming beach and the hotel provides a complimentary minibus to the beach at Chaweng a few times daily. For a nicer swimming spot and snorkeling, borrow the sea kayaks (free of charge) and paddle round into the next bay. Whilst there, stop for a drink at Beryl's Bar, a small family run, authentic Thai restaurant with great value drinks and amazing fresh food.
The hotel itself has a few options for food, with a bar on the beach, a formal restaurant and a more casual restaurant, Samui Pub. We ate both in Samui Pub, and at the beach bar. Food was of good quality, and not too expensive considering we were in a 5* resort. We tended however to eat at Beryl Bar more often purely for it's authenticity and friendly owners!
All staff were wonderful from Catherine, who greeted is on arrival, to the staff at breakfast and the wonderful team caring for the grounds, driving the minibus etc. Thank you to all of you and we can't wait to come back :)
