“Great travel café in my hometown Bergen!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2013

What an inspiring cafe for travellers this is! It’s a great place for just dreaming about places to go while having a cup of coffee or something to eat. I really like the atmosphere and the people who worked here. They also sell all you need of travel equipment and travel books about almost any location. There is also a shelf full of travel books you can read when planning your next travel – or just dreaming about it…..

Regards

“Like this place, but it's not wheelchair friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2012

This is a nice place, and I've written another review about what I like about it, but it's not wheelchair friendly at all, and I just wanted to warn people with wheelchairs/strollers about that. You need to climb some steps to get into Chillout, and it's also quite narrow inside if you are bringing a stroller or a wheelchair.

This is the place to go if you're looking for travel companions, drink a coffee while you browse the huge selection of travel literature, or just hang out with friends.

“Good hot beverages, the rest I haven`t tried!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2012

Me and my friends sometimes meet at Chillout for a hot beverage like coffee, chai latte, hot chocolate with our without chilli. Tastes good! They normally have baked goods that smells delicious. It`s cozy, the staff is friendly, and they have a good selection of travel guides and travel equipment. Worth a visit!

“Inspiring cafe for travelers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2012

If you want to sit on a cafe while planning your next journey, or simply just dream about places to go while having a cup of coffee, this is the place. I haven't tried the food, but I like the atmosphere, the people who worked there were nice, and you can look in lonely planet guides and other guide books from all over the world, buy backpacker equipment etc. in the cafe if you want, or just hang out for a long time, and that's perfectly fine.
