Firstly, we visited this initially on a Sunday. Our guide book and from a brief look at the website suugested it closed at 6pm on Sunday. It didn't - we got there at 3.30pm to be told it closed at 4pm. We had one very disapointed 5 year old!
So we came back the next morning. It is expensive (just over 600kr for 2 adults and a child) but there is a discount if you have a Bergen card. It's small and not really value for money - however my daughter really enjoyed the displays and being allowed to feed the carp. English was widely spoken and on all the displays. Altogether, on a very rainy day it was a pleasant and covered place to spend a couple of hours as a family. I did feel that a couple of the enclosures were too small though. I doubt we'd visit again, I wouldn't dream of spending the equivalent amount on a small aquarium trip in the UK but overall we had a nice time.
