In my opinion, the absolutely best among the few fine dining restaurants in Trondheim. It is a small and quaint restaurant with a discrete facade in a small alley. The interior is likewise stylish but plain, but the food is amazing. The restaurant serves up an ever changing composition of course menus that consist of the best daily produce. The bistro upstairs is less formal and less expensive (of course high quality still means high price). Credo is usually a wonderful place for fish and seafood.
The bar is wonderful and intimate, with frequent concerts of jazz, blues, americana and indie artists, both Norwegian and international. The owner of the restaurant is a renowned wine expert and has a fantastic Riesling that should definitely be ordered, both for dinner and for aperitifs, simply enjoying in the bar.
