The hostel is quite-well located, about 25-30min walking distance from Trondheim city centre. A supermarket is about 5-7min walking distance.
There is a spacious parking place in front of the hostel, so no problem to park your car. However, remember to take a free parking card at the hostel reception and place it visibly in your car. Cops like to check it and our friends had to pay quite high fee for forgetting to ask for the parking card.
The rooms are very small with a washbasin. We had a 6-bed room and it was not possible for all of us to get up in the same time... Really not much space.
Breakfast were served in a spacious dining-room, but they close this room over the day and there was not other place to eat with your friends during days. There is a kitchen with a table and few chairs but it can be rather noisy in the kitchen when all guests come back to the hostel and start to cook, therefore it is not a nice place for calm dinner with friends. There is a TV room too, but there are just few places. Well, my point is, it's pity the large dining-room is not open over days too.
The hostel is clean and quiet, a good place to sleep over in, but not so good place to spend evenings in.
The free internet connection works just in the TV room, not in the rooms.
