This is the third Easter holiday our family of four has spent at this venue, and we will probably plan getting there a future Easter as well.
Since our last visit, they've made a nice- yet necessary - overhaul of kitchen, furniture and floor in the apartment rooms in "Rammgården". Two separate bedrooms and a livingroom with small kitchen corner in addition to bathroom with shower gives a family a choice between spending their dollar at restaurants in Røros, or spend their time cooking simple meals themselves.
Some critical remarks are in order regarding meals: The breakfast, while generally good (the chicken was a favourite of ours) had supply problems - bread and bakery was at times empty, and replacements not always baked to the point of crispness and colour. Rather, while edible, we often ate the bread wondering if it had only been de-frozen and not properly heated/baked.
Being a lover of bread myself, this in particular was unsatisfactory. Also there was one further disappontment with a cold glass of red wine in the restaurant (the wine was perfectly tempered first time around).
This is things that should be easily fixed (as a Norwegian, however, I find it hard to confront such issues on the spot - hence the descriptions here).
