We were led here by a chef from another restaurant who had just closed for the nght. A pretty good recommendation right off the bat!
The décor is nice and has a cozy/clubby feel. We were quickly seated by our pleasant server Miriam, and we took our time with our dinner selections. I imposed on Miriam to select a beer for me from their extensive beer offerings. She gladly did so after asking a couple of questions to determine my basic preferences. She also followed up to assure that she had chosen well - She had.
I went for their daily fish special, a pan-fried cod, with tomato-based oxtail soup. My wife had a blue cheese hamburger, and her cousin had a prawn cocktail. Everything was excellent, and Miriam was regular yet discreet in checking to assure we were satisfied.
We would gladly recommend this place for a light dinner - It is a little pricey, but not outrageous.
