“Excellent value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013

We come here a couple of times a month. The athmosphere is not much to brag about, but it's very cheap and the food is great. And oh! They sell Kingfisher:) I love the vegetarian dish, cause it changes with the seasons. The nan breads are amongst the best in the city!

“Good food at good price!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2013 via mobile

We loved the spicy food here. The service is quite fast and if nice weather, the food maybe tastes even better outside. Here you can also get huge bottles of indian beer at a very good price.

“Absolutly remarkable place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2013

This is a great resturant, for those who want tasty food at an affordable price. The resturant is rather small and because of its popularity it often gets crowded. But a quick meal is absolutly recommended and still, if you dislike it you havent lost a fortune. The menus variety makes room for everybody.

You can't get this quality cheaper in any other Norwegian resturant

“GREAT FOOD AT REASONABLE PRICE”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2013

Being an Indian, one tends to feel biased on seeing an Indian restuarant at any place on the globe. And if its Oslo (where even the Europeans swear by the extremely high cost of food), then its a foodie's delight to find words like "Tandoor" and "Punjab" on a restuarant board!!
This restuarant serves one of the finest "Nan" bread that I have eaten in all my life!! And each gravy item is quite light - considering that Punjaabi food is generally quite heavy!! I guess the local clientele had an effect on the "masala content"!! But no complaints - their food is to die for!!! If I may put it that way!!!
The owner and his brother are very enthusiastic in serving the hungry and hence people walked out of this place with a satisfied stomach!!
A meal for two of us (with 4 nan, 1 rice, 1 non-veg and 2 veg side dishes, 2 pcs of gulab jamun & 2 cups of masal tea) came for approx NOK300 - which was quite decent considering that we had spent approx NOK200 the earlier night eating 2 hamburgers-fries and having one coffee each!!!
