“Average, so-so, meh . . . . get used to it”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

As I mentioned in other reviews, dining in Norway was a challenge. The meals were *always* outrageously expensive and much of the time they were mediocre at best. Peppe's in a chain--it seems to be all over the place and the food is okay, but not great. Same with the service. Not terrible, but not the best. If you're hungry and desperate and see a Peppe's around, then stop in, but almost certainly you can do better (and for less money).

“Terrible”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2013 via mobile

That's no pizza but surrogate. The Cesar sald is a mix of Norway souces with a extreme spice chicken. Two slices of brad with butter only 5 euros (42 Nk) that's amazing!

“Decent size pizzas with generous toppings”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013 via mobile

Even though it's a chain, they actually make very good pizzas. Quite large, you will easily feed two people with one. Generous amount of toppings. We have gone there a few times in our three week stay in Oslo. My favourite was the satay and coriander pizza.

“Going downhill, fast”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

The staff is pleasant and hardworking, but something is messing up the pizza. The dough is too sweet, the sauce is weird, the cheese hardens into something that only resembles food. The place keeps getting rough reviews, and I just don't understand the complacency of management. The thin crust is a step in the right direction, but not enough.

This was one of the first pizza providers in Norway, and apparently they are resting on these laurels. It's a shame, because they have the distribution and the staff commitment to do much better.
