“Visit Enzo next time in Oslo!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2014

We do have a lot of very good Bid Gourmand restaurants in Oslo. One is Enzo - a small personal restaurant in the Radisson Blu, Holbergsplass. Why visiting Enzo? Excellent food without compromise and indeed terrific wines. The first step before getting a star and not expensive. The today's cod with cauliflower and striped bacon and 8 min cocked was terrific with Pinot Noire. Wow. Share this experience with your friends!

“convenient location, good food, no views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2014

Spent a night in the Radisson Blu and went here for dinner - it is located in the lobby, so almost no walking necessary ;).

The "restaurant" is a thin slice of room between the lobby and the street, and the waiters etc are in the bar opposite the entrance. This location means you can choose to look into the lobby or on the street, but the end walls feature couches which allow to hide away a bit.

The selection is not large, they have a set menu and three a la carte choices starter/main/dessert, but the food... the food... hmm, really, really good, and decent amounts, too.

“Great option if you are staying at Radisson Blue or nearby”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2014 via mobile

It was last day AND we were so tired as to walk long to find out a good gastronomy experience in Oslo.

The restaurant is nice, small but comfortable. Spite of the hotel is huge, few people choose to have dinner inside. So that's perfect to enjoy your dinner!

We ordered an amazing seafood soap. Supposed to ve a very traditional one, really tasty. We selected a menú with 3 dishes and the final price with your drink wasn't so crazy as other places in Norway, 55€/each.

The Cod was quite good but the sauce made it worse. Too lemony...

Dessert, very nice. Ice cream together with chocolate cake.

Good experience.

“A nice place to be for a relaxing meal !”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2014

My wife and I would usually visit this establishment once a week or so for dinner or snacks. The Enzo Bar and Restaurant is situated in the Radisson Blu Hotel Scandinavia, locaed just some 100 metres from the Royal Palace gardens. Erected back in 1974, this hotel is commonly known to Oslo people as the "SAS hotel". In 1974, this hotel had a flair of international travel and airports, at a time when international travel was something very exclusive for a "selected few". The hotel still has an "airport atmosphere" with a feeling that the entire world is coming to Oslo just in this place. Restaurant guests have a good view of people arriving for check-in, just like an airport check-in.

There have always been cafeterias, bars and restaurants in the lobby area of this hotel. Since a few years, Enzo is the name for a good restaurant in the lobby area with an easygoing atmosphere. Enzo is also the name of a restaurant in a more discrete room on the same floor. More convenient for conference guests and those who prefer a "llounge atmosphere".

The food is surprisingly good at Enzo Bar and Restaurant. There is a set menu for dinner from 3 p.m. onwards priced at 395 kroner, which is a good bargain in restaurants in Norway. In fact, the same price in both sections, thus not more expensive in the "lounge section" with white table clothes. The portions are huge, more or less "American sized", and potatoes and other extras are always included in the set menu price. There are usually different "courses of the day" from one day to the next. The standard burgers and club sandwiches are always available and quite good at this place.

The staff are helpful and attentive and the food is served without unnecessary delay. Some of the staff do not speak Norwegian, but English is no problem. The menus are in Norwegian and English respectively. The Radisson hotels, which actually have their Nordic top office in this hotel, would encourage staff to move from one Radisson hotel to another to get experience. Oslo Norway is a popular location for staff from all over the world because of good wages and generous overall job conditions. So this place has a good and positive interaction between staff and guests.

A highly recommended place for a good and relaxing meals ! Especially nice for those of us who would enjoy the flair of international travel. Just try it out and you will enjoy the experience !

“Prof Jeff at Enzo”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2013

The restaurant is very convenient. There is a bar menu and restaurant menu. The serving and bar staff are excellent. However the restaurant food is very expensive and the portion sizes very small. I chose combination meals mixing both bar and restaurant menus.
