I took 9 boys and 5 adults to the hostel. Throughout our stay we found the hostel clean, safe and friendly. The staff were very accommodating and the food was excellent. We ate breakfast and cooked evening meal and all were very good. The communal kitchen was also excellent, large and with all the utensils you need. The rooms were pretty clean and consisted of bunk beds and a basin. The ensuit rooms had reasonable facilities and the communal facilities were clean and effective.
The location of the hostel is excellent, 2 minutes from the 17 tram that takes you to the heart of Oslo. There are lovely views across Oslo from the hostel, which is on the side of a hill.
I would give 5,stars but we asked for rooms adjacent to each other and had this confirmed by the hostel weeks earlier only to find this hadn't happened. Despite this I would definitely return to Haraldsheim were I. lucky enough to visit Oslo again.
