3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

Not a parade street, quite nice in summertime though, but there are more impressive main streets other places

“Ok main drag”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2012

Not much to do or see on this street. People watch? Not very high end shopping or a lot of restaurants or bars.

“Not the best part of Oslo”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2012

Oslo's main street is a long sequence of shops and restaurants, often caotic and crowed: Norwegians love going out, but prices are extremely high for non-local people. There's something better to do in Oslo than shopping.

“The main shopping street”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2012

This is the main shopping street which goes from the Central station square to the Royal Palace. We were not particularly impressed with this street, and went through it several times mainly to reach Aker Brigge. If you are looking for shops, then the Shopping centers like Byporten in front of the Central Station are much more interesting.

“Great people watching”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2012

The buildings, garden and fountain areas, shops and seeing the palace at the end of the very long street is beautiful. The palace's outside walls and roof were being worked on so we didn't walk all the way to the palace.
