“Those guys were nuts!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

I stumbled across this museum by chance and am glad I did. The rafts were on display and the documentary fascinating. True adventurers and completely bonkers.

“A must do in Oslo”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013

The museum is interesting and is situated close to other museum that is well worth visiting. A short documentary is also shown at given times during the day.

“Fascinating and educational museum”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013

This was an interesting museum highlighting the Kon-Tiki mission to preserve the environment with diverse participants. I didn't see the documentary in which supposedly won accolades for their mission.

“Interesting museum”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013 via mobile

Interesting exhibits, has two boats on display, and plenty of info hanging on the wall. There is also a video playing showing the original footage and interviews of the crew who sailed the boat across the Pacific. There is also plenty of info there about Easter Island. Won't take much time to go through it.

“Very pleased with this exhibit!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

This venue doesn't appear to be much on the outside, but when you get inside it tells a whole different story. We enjoyed going over all of the artifacts and reading the history of this amazing project. It is very well done.
