“Must see place in Oslo”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

We took the East bound Metro 1 Frognersetern on a Saturday morning from Oslo S and it took us 25 mins to reach Frognersetern.

We walked all the way from Frognersetern till Holmenkollen (Just 500 meters from there) and reached ski jumping summit. Though it was the end of Winter season (March end), we were still lucky to see some ski jumps from very near. Amazing experience.

“Fantastik Ski Jump Tower views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013 via mobile

Easy to get here from Oslo Central station. Snow everywhere even though its suppose to be spring. Well this is an intersting place to see. There is a ski simulator experience for 5 minutes at 60kr. Wish it was longer. Love the little cafe next to the Ski Museum nice staff. I had hot chocolate with whipped cream and a muffin yummy delicious snack for the day. There is a souvenier shop nice to browse in. There is a huge stuffed brown bear inside. For someone who have never seen any of these before ...its an awesome place to be.

“Great museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013

It's a long walk after getting off from the metro. We should have gone to a shorter route but there was no sign. So we walked a long time to reach the museum. It was a great visit. The museum was not too big but the jump tower was impressive. We spent a lot of time at the gift shop too.

“Winter fun any time of year”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

This ski jump is a great look out point and a nice way to visit the forests and hills surrounding Oslo. It is easily reachable via the safe, clean, public transportation. I took a walk on the trails up there with family and friends on a snowy November day. The fresh air is great and you get an excellent view of the city and harbour.

“Go during ski season”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013 via mobile

Randomly went here during the world cup. Brilliant decision. Got in free because it was only qualifying. Had great fun, the so jumping was amazing got some great photos with views over Oslo. Think it would be worth a trip up even without the skiers.
