“Go during ski season”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013 via mobile

Randomly went here during the world cup. Brilliant decision. Got in free because it was only qualifying. Had great fun, the so jumping was amazing got some great photos with views over Oslo. Think it would be worth a trip up even without the skiers.

“Worth to experience thrill in Ski Jumping”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2013

A nice place to experience the enthralling ski jumping. Haven't had chance to visit the top but experience the thrill in the simulator ride available there. Ski Museum was worth watching, and reaching there was also very easy from train station.

“WOW!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013

This just has to be seen to be believed. Why anyone would want to put on skis and jump off that tower, i don't know, but the ability to go to the very top of the Olympic tower, to stand on the podium, to see the breathtaking views, and to look down that chute to the spectator area seemingly miles below, will live with me for the rest of my life. If you only do one thing in Oslo, visit this.

“Sky is the limit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013

This is one of Oslo´s best tourist attractions. Make sure you stop by a weekend in the winter (if you have the time) as there is a lot of competitions of national/international level in both skiing, skijump and biathlon (skishooting).

If you fancy yourself a visit to the ski-museum you´ll have the possibility to learn about ski as a way of transportation from the viking age until todays society´s recreational use. The lead dog "Colonel" of the Amundsen expedition to the South Pole in 1911 is displayed along with championship winning skiis, olympic medals and so on. My favorite part of the museum is the skitower-experience. Take an elevator to the top, get 360 degree view of Oslo and lean out over the 98,2 m drop the skijumpers head out on before flying 120 meters to the end of the hill.

Absolutely breathtaking on a nice winter day.
