Tonight we wanted to show some of our international friends the view of Oslo, while enjoying something to drink, we thought Bar 34 would be the the perfect location to go to because of its location and view.
Having worked several years within the same industry I know what I can expect and I am willing to cut people some slack if it is flat out busy in the bar, but if you got only ten guests and 3 staff members at work, I expect more than what was provided tonight.
Here are some friendly tips.
1. Have more than one menu in your Bar - No need to explain why
2. Having only Ringes, Carlsberg, Corona some kind of dark beer ?? is not a good enough selection or description in any Hotel bar, even if this is a cocktail bar. - ps. 80% of your guest where drinking beer.
3. I am not expecting an amazing selection of tea & coffee, how ever call me crazy but having something similar to Green tea, Peppermint, hot chocolate/mocca, really basic items (which you do have in your hotel) is not too much to ask for in a hotel bar anywhere in the world, just get your lazy staff to restock the bar.
