“A place to go if you are seriously bored”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2013

A place to go if you are seriously bored....it was raining and snowing the few days I was there and got nothing else to do. The seals got me entertained for two hour, the two videos they show were very impressive, but people said you can find those video on YouTube.....

“Ok.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013 via mobile

Quite small so not great value. The seals they care for were the best part so it was disappointing to find real seal skin clothing in the gift shop.

“Fascinating seals”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

Not the biggest aquarium but saw lots of fish and crabs and the 4 seals they have were a delight to watch.

“Cute Seals”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013 via mobile

I enjoyed the seals very much and the feeding time was interesting. I don't feel it was worth the money, for the price you pay there isn't really much to see and even though the seals are cute it is a lot of money for the short time you are there. Apart from watching the seals there are some fish to see and then you have seen it all.

“Little choice on a rainy Sunday in Tromso ...”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013

Little to do or see in Tromso on a Sunday - all the shops are closed, no brewery tour so we paid the 120 kroner each to get in and it was just not worth it. The panoramic cinema is not up to much and the two films were pictures set to music, no narrative. The Artic walk was a joke - a tent, a boardwalk and plastic snow. The seal feeding was so full they did half a show then asked those at the front to leave people at the back come forward to see the remainder of the show. The tank seemed fairly small. The shop was well stocked with Norweigan souveniors and if we'd had children with us we'd have no doubt been unable to leave without buying something.
