Anyone living in (or just visiting) Norway knows that eating out is very expensive. I am used to that, but I am also used to Chinese restaurants being cheaper. The average cost of a main dish in this restaurant is approx. 200-230 NOK (or about 35-37 USD). To be honest, you get a lot of food, and unless you are very, very hungry, you get more than you can finish.
Good quality food, but not so much better than the average Chinese restaurant to make up for the price difference (You can get decent Chinese food for about half the price elsewhere). Also- the children`s menu is quite limited, so if you have children who are picky eaters you are better off somewhere else.
The restaurant`s atmosphere was calm and nice - neutral colours and decor, and they have a fire place. Service-minded staff. Very convenient location, just a stone throw from the main street. So - all in all - if you fancy Chinese food and don`t mind paying for it, Dinner 68 is a good place to get it.
