Me and my girlfriend are frequent visitors to the city of Vienna. We have stayed in various hotels but our experiences in The Ring were the best we have had so far. The Ring promotes itself as a casual luxury hotel and actually that is exactly what it is.

Of course you pay a little more, but it is more than worth it. The big plusses are: the relaxed atmosphere, the exellent location, the great matrasses, helpfull and friendly staff, the spacious and slylish room we had and the trendy yet cosy hotel bar (serving the most beautiful vodkas in town).

Less positive we were on the absence of a bath tub in our room and... well, that's all actually! By the way, bath tubs are present in almost all rooms and suites according to the website. So just ask for it!

If you are there, don't forget to check the over-sized guest book to read about the experiences of the parade of dj's and other celebs that enjoyed The Ring before you!

We stayed at this hotel in November for my husband's birthday. The standard of the rooms and public areas was excellent, modern, comfortable and clean and the staff were very helpful.

Breakfast was really lovely and we ate snaks in the bar a couple of times which were of a really high standard.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

It was indeed an excellent stay in this fine property although casual as the name inspires.The best location in town,close to the Stateopera House,Cathedral,Albertina Museum and the commercial center.The rooms are spacious and with all the facilites one needs even a Nexpresso machine for your selected coffee.The Bar is very attractive and frequented by locals once has a street entrance such as the Restaurant,too «casual» for the refined food we can get to.Try also the SPA with a view...to the Opera building!The Hall could be a little bit larger but the toilets (serving the bar and the restaurant) are in line with the casual but fine decoration.Last but not least the staff is very friendly and helpful what is expected in a luxury small Hotel like this one.Price affordable for the product and location.

If you are looking for a cosy five-star hotel in downtown Vienna The Ring is the place for you! An intimate and welcoming atmosphere in the lobby is the first impression. I was upgraded to an "Extraordinary room", which is a room measuring 45 square meters with a nice view over the Ringstrasse. The restaurant "At Eight" offers casual food in an elegant environment and here is also breakfast served. Unfortunately there are no breakfast buffet served so you have to choose from a menu offering three different options of breakfast.
The staff was extremely friendly and had good knowledge of the different hotspots in Vienna. The location of The Ring couldn´t be better for both tourists and business travellers.
