I pretty much just want to recommend the Hotel. Great staff, great food. Great location. The Gym could be better. it's very basic, some treadmills and hand weights, But I won't let that affect my recommendation. Stayed in a suite, nice and roomy. Bed very comfortable. Maybe you pay for the location as well. I'm sure there are other hotels that are located near the center with a lower rate. I had a 250 deal for the suite..

Researched TripAdvisor for clean, well located, 5 star hotel in Vienna. The Ring is the place. Rooms were new and clean which is my fundamental first priority, everything worked (including Nespresso machine which greeted me every morning), staff was friendly (and attractive). Wired internet in room was fast, dependable, and included in price. The Ring is located on upscale street close to other 5 star hotels. Lots of good neighborhood restaurants close by, parks and sights within short walk, and a main metro station is located across the street (I never used it - walked everywhere). The food was just OK - a little expensive but not more than expected for hotel food. I only had a couple of room service meals in the room - nothing special. The restaurant never seemed very popular with other guests or residents. Plenty of less expensive, more rewarding breakfast alternatives near by.
I live and work internationally and travel frequently, primarily for pleasure. I typically select 4+ to 5 star hotels that are clean, centrally located, and have positive Tripadvisor reviews. These hotels typically aren't the cheapest, but they provide the most value according to my preferences. The Ring fits in this category, and I will stay here again when I return to Vienna.

I stayed at the Ring for two nights in early November. I had a biggish room overlooking the main road with a king size bed. The room was very spacious - separate closet area, nice big bedroom area and a good sized workspace against the wall opposite the bed. I liked the design - its modern and its functional. The bed is very comfortable and they use high quality linen on it - its the little things but they make a difference. My room was always made up after I left for meetings and always turned down early evening with little touches that reminded me more of high end asian hotels than european ones. In fact, the service attitude of staff in general was a pleasant surprise. I have heard before that austria is different from the rest of europe - but for the first time in Europe I found a service attitude that was pleasant and eager to please.

The internet connectivity is free - a great plus and one that instantly wins me over - it just speaks volumes for the way that management thinks. The tv system is also nice - practical to use. I am mostly a tv watcher and its always painful to surf through lots of channels to find the English ones. This wasn't necessary at this hotel - they have a system where you can select tv channels by genre, language etc and then when you press channel up/dn on the remote, you surf through the sub-selected channels - it really does make tv viewing in the hotel so much easier.

I also liked the gym area - its small and compact but practical and since its a small hotel, the gym was never crowded - only a couple of people using the cardio machines when I worked out.

All in all, I loved the hotel and the staff. I recommend it highly to those on business and leisure. Its well located and comfortable. It'll be my choice for future visits to Vienna.

I totally enjoyed my unfortunately short stay at The Ring Hotel. I did not want to leave! It is a beautifully elegant, modern and well desiged hotel in the heart of a classic European city. The style and atmosphere is luxurious and classy. I felt very comfortable and spoiled at the same time. Ladies, please check out the hot pink and black bathroom in the lobby. I felt like a princess! The sound proof rooms made it very easy to enjoy the great music playlist on the house entertainment system as loud as i wanted. The flat screen in the bedroom was a nice touch and the blanket and pillows were like sleeping on clouds. The use of quality products and nespresso coffee machine in the room made me feel as though every aspect of a comfortable stay had been thought about. I thoroughly enjoyed a massage and time spent in the spa area. It is small but quaint and private. During lunchtime i ordered a hamburger which was surprisingly one of the best burgers I've had in Vienna. Wonderful!! I really enjoyed my stay and look forward to going back very soon! I loved it.
