“Great for a quick bite.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014 via mobile

Great little place just off the Main Street near St Stefans Cathedral. They serve the most delicious sandwiches and snacks and is clearly very popular with locals who seem to stop on their way home after work. It's small and seating is limited - we stood outside at a tall table and ate there, glass of wine in hand. You just know you are in the heart of Europe!
Try it out and you won't be disappointed.

“Random and Cool”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2014

If you into trying something different and kind of cool, try this little joint. They have a tonne of different sandwiches which are pretty tasty and cute little beers. It's a fun and cheap snack that won't break the budget. Also, the bread is dense and more filling then one would expect.

“A CLASSIC WITH A 100+YEARS HISTORY”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2014

The "unaussprechlich gut" snack place in Vienna has been a favorite of mine as long as i can remember …. a choice of more than 20 different tastes of sandwiches and the original "pfiff", a small beer on the side, makes this place unique - I have been there 3 times this week and the sandwiches taste just … delicious - if in Vienna, a must go-to, believe me … my all-ever record stands at 24 sandwiches….

“Cool idea, nice execution”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2014

Just for context, my wife and I are in our early 30s and are somewhat well-traveled.

Went here after St. Stephens - about 5 minutes away. Imagine a piece of bread. Now cut it lengthwise into fourths. Now, put a bunch of delicious spreads on each slice (egg, tuna, paprika, pickles, etc.). Now, drink some beer with it. Not bad, huh?
