The Do & Co Hotel Vienna is located right in the center of the city, which makes it a great starting point for sightseeing. While this is definitely a plus for the leisure traveller, it also has some down sides: because the Stephansdom across from the hotel is a major sight in Vienna, the area of the hotel is packed with tourists night and day. Also, the hotel is in a pedestrian zone, which makes arriving by car a bit difficult. The hotel, however, does its best to remedy this problem: guests can call ahead a few minutes prior to arriving, and the hotel will send valets to the nearest point that can be reached by car to park the car and to offer assistance with luggage.

The rooms are very nice and offer all amenities and comforts. The design is great and offers wonderful features such as a rain fall-style shower, a great wine bar in every room, and Italian bath room amenities. Some areas of the room (walls, corners) appear a bit worn down even though the hotel is not very old, and this is rather disturbing for a hotel of that caliber and price.

The breakfast is nice, good selection at the buffet, very friendly service, and a lot of dishes can be ordered a la carte as well. The restaurant also has a great design with a nice terrace overlooking the main square.

We had booked a special offer a long time ago that set us back €192 per night including breakfast and taxes. We considered this a fair price from a cost-benefit perspective but would not have been willing to pay any more than that (note that usual rates are higher than the rate we had booked) since most rates range from €200-250 / night WITHOUT breakfast.

Overall: interesting design hotel in perfect sightseeing location. Stay here if you can get a good rate and like design hotels, otherwise consider alternatives.

We had a great time at the DO&CO hotel in central Vienna. It is perfectly located (overlooking Stephansplatz and the St. Stephans cathedral, right in the heart of the inner city.) It's an unusual place: built within the historic and modernistic Haas Haus. The rooms are highly designed and trendy, with advanced electronic features which are somewhat hard to use. But at the same time they're extremely comfortable,with great beds, glass-walled shower with rain head, Bang and Olufsen plasma TV.

We watched the street entertainers in the square below from the comfort (and quiet) of our bedroom.

Storage spaces for clothes(drawers especially) were in short supply.

The youthful staff were accommodating and helpful. Our dinner in their DO&CO restaurant was one of the best of our trip. It was lovely to have an alternative to the usually heavy and calorie-rich (though often delicious) Austrian cuisine.

We didn't include breakfasts in our hotel price, as there are many reasonably priced breakfast places in the immediate area.

Highly recommended as a centrally-located and unusually designed hotel. Check out their website before booking to make sure that this is what you want.

Best hotel in vienna hands down. This hotel truly had the workings of any 5 star hotel . The service was just right, the staff seemed to anticipate my every request. If you need anything done the doorman Jesse is always the best bet, tip him well and you will be sure to live out youtr stay with anything you could possibly need. The hotel is VERY clean and has every creature comfort you could ever need ( including a $10,000 Bang & Olfson TV , $800 Bang & Olfson phone and a TV in the bathroom overlooking the jacuzzi tub). The mini bar is not so mini with some great top shelf liquor and some very tasty vienieese wines. A tip: if your staying at the hotel and want to go to the onyx bar the white couch in the middle is always strictly reserved for hotel guest only, did'nt find this out until my last night. Overall if your looking for a modern hotel in Vienna as opposed to all the goddy old hotels this is the place for you. Location is amazing and it is most def. worth the price to stay here. I promise you will not regret it. OoO and there is a great Verstal past the Casino Wien that is open late night for some pizza or kabbob if you do not want to pay for somewhat pricey room service
