“Reasonable price for a short stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

It was the best you could get for the price. The hotel itself isn't too bad, it's clean, and there's a safe in the wardrobe to hide your valuables, computers in the lounge (no WiFi in rooms) and they give you cable to connect to the internet if you have your computer with you. Staff is friendly, you can buy Die Vien Karte at the reception (buy it! You don't have to worry about tram/underground/bus tickets for 72 hrs plus majority of museums and attractions offer dicounts for Die Vien Karte holders. Costs 20 euro for 72 hrs one). Accessible via tram, not too close to the town centre but can't expect too much for that price.

I found this hotel through booking, com, a very good offer, just 78€ for e dbl room. We were happy to have found a cheap hotel very close to city center. We had a small room on the third floor. The hotel is not really nice, but we did't care, we had to stay just 2 nights. Staff is friendly and always try to solve problems (the blond lady was very nice she gave me something against my headache). there were no hairdryer so the first night I had my hairs wet but that didn't effect me much. There is no wifi, in the room but just normal internet connection, so if there are big things to do, is better for you to bring your pc, otherwise at the reception there is free wifi and 3 computers (for free). What I really didn't like was the bathroom; there was lot of humidity and the walls were really dirty specially in the room. So if the cleanness is very important for you (for me it is) this one is not the very best choice. By the way there is a Centimeter restaurant at the neighborhood. Go there to have at least once dinner or lunch. You will love it. Staff is friendly, they are fast, food is good and is cheap.

This year, passing through Vienna travel to the mountains, chose the same hotel as in the past.
Despite the 8:00 am and from 14.00 Check-In was asked to wait for half an hour and provided by third four-bed room.
In the TV room with 2 Russian channels, the situation is simple. There is a free safe.
The bathroom has a shower, no hair dryer.
Heating normal only when you open a window to ventilate it off. Near the reception desk was free wifi.
The room only to sleep, the rest walked in Vienna.
In the morning breakfast at 5 euros is quite diverse. Late Check-out any delay was not.
In general, for normal nights in Vienna, the budgetary position.

I've stayed here twice and have never had a problem with this hotel. It's clean, easy to find although not centrally located. The staff are friendly and all speak perfect English.
Breakfast comes at an additional cost but I think you're better off going to a cafe for something hot instead of the basic continental.
Overall, I would recommend this for a budget trip.

Room Tip: The room nearest the restaurant are VERY noisy.

I have stayed at hotel geblergasse for 2 nights only. The hotel is not far from its city centre, a nearby metro and tram station gets you quickly into the centre (5-10min). The room of the hotel was spacious and clean and fits all basic needs. We also had breakfast in the morning which for 5 euros was a pretty good deal. Overall id say this is a perfect hotel if you do not want to spend too much money and dont mind using public transportation to get you anywhere.
