“Very loud and poor bathroom!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

LIKE:

-I liked the design in the room- but not in the bathroom (it was old and not very big, unlike in photos).

-I liked the big windows of the room.

-Nice style in the corridor and lobby

NOT SO MUCH:

-Beds not comfy- too hard and douple bed kept slipping away from each other (ordered douple, got two put together, and as said before they did not stay together

-No extra (not even congrats from the staff), allthough we had made it clear that it´s our wedding night

-room very noisy! Trams passing by from 5am on!

-The Staff was friendly, but in a "young-hostel-kind-of-way"... For example: I said that I didn´t sleep at all because of the trams (the night before my wedding!) and the young man in the reception answered with: " i´m also tired, party all night!"...

-Bathroom was small and old! Very different than in the photos

-Junior suite was rather a bit bigger room than a suite

-Breakfast room tiny and not very cosy

-Walls were paper (could hear every word the neigbourgs were saying, also tv)

-No radio in the room

-No minibar

-One water bottle in the room (with big price tag 4,50€)

-Reception only between 8am and 8pm

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the courtyard side, maybe it isn´t so loud there... Or find another hotel.

1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2013

This hotel was abysmal. It was advertised as "Newly opened in 2013", "with modern rooms". The hotel is in a very old building, and the "remodel" that has been done is of pathetic quality - the walls are so thin between the rooms that you can hear the person next door tapping their razor on the sink. There was dust everywhere in the hotel, there were bare wires visible on the walls. We had booked a suite for our family, and were instead put into a single room. We were so disappointed that we left the hotel early the next morning, rather than staying for 2 nights as originally planned. This hotel advertises itself as 4 stars, but it really closer to 1.5. I urge anyone planning to stay at this hotel to rethink their plans, and stay elsewhere.

Dear valued Guest!
first of all, I would like to thank you on behalf of all our staff for taking your time and sharing your experiences with us. I remember well your stay and your bad experience, as also advised on the phone, we agreed fully to your thoughts and we would like to sincerely apoligize for not having met at all your expectations. As explained on the phone, during your stay we were in the opening phase, and as always, we were not able to offer all what we promised.
I can assure you that now after over 1 Month we are ready to meet our guests expectations fully. Every day we work hard to create an atmosphere and environment that makes our guests feel first of all welcome and home away from home.
Again, please accept our apologies for the inconveniences occured.

We wish you all the best from Vienna and would be more than happy to get a second chance to prove our commitment.
