“feeling of 4 nights stay”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

experienced 4 nights at Leo. Room is cute, but hotel house keeping service quality is really bad, firstly we requested to change a clean electric kettle from original very dirty one, but they were not able to change it and we were forced to make our coffee/tea by the bathroom water.

further more i tried the hotel sandwich, a simple one( cold toast with cabbage and ham)doesn't deserved 6 euro.

Room Tip: -elevator is old type (sometimes maybe not so convenient) -house keeping quality can be improved...

The hotel is located in a great location, only 200 meters from the U-bahn and the city trolleys. Staff is very pleasant, breakfast excellent.
Pro's. Location, Breakfast, price, staff
CON'S: room are al ittle bit small (and I was in a Superior room, 427). The showers were kinda small as well.

One note: the manager Stefan Weiss is a unpleasant individual, as I was asking for information from the lady at the front desk, and he interrupted her and told her that she neded to start moving ( in german, but I undesrtood) but when other German couple approach him, he pleasently continued talking with them. Wrong......Othe than that , excellent hotel for the price and the location.

Room Tip: Get a Superior room if you are above 6 feet tall. the normal rooms are a bit small, even though supe...

I recommend this hotel because it is very close to Mariahilfer strasse ( the main big street with lots of shops ) and the Westbanhof mall which has got the trains and the trams there . The breakfast was fantastic with a lot of choices , the hotel staff service was excellent , thirty minutes free surfing in their computers in the lobby and if you wanted more they would give you . The rooms are nice and clean . The hotel is four star , clean and worth the value and was recently renovated . The lobby clerks are very cooperative and help you by explaining the way around vienna and they are really professional .

Highly recommended, freshly remodeled and an excellent value. Great location for walking, shopping, eating, trains and auto parking. Although there are metros to take, we walked the distance to the palace and the Opera House areas and back to the hotel without any difficulty (and we're both in our 60s). There were a couple of small markets (the Hofer, around the corner of the hotel, and the Billa, which was several blocks from the hotel) where you could purchase fruit, drinks, cold cuts, veggies etc.

Great breakfast with many choices and excellent hotel staff service. The rooms are on the small size and the club floor does have some benefits such as a higher floor and a complimentary bottle of water upon check in. Limited free Wi-Fi in lobby area. Don't let the bad reviews sell this place short. It is top shelf and has lots to offer. It is new, modern, clean, and fashionable with the perfect location and a real value for Vienna. The hotel website will get you the breakfast free and the best deal.

This hotel which has been recently renovated is located in one of the most convenient and beautiful parts of Vienna. Very close to Westbanhof and Subway Station, the hotel neighbors one of one of the busiest and most vibrant streets of Vienna "Mariahilf Strasse"a typical walking street you can find all around Europe. Let's get back to hotel. Right from the start you are welcomed by friendly staff who know their job very well and give you good instructions about hotel services and city tours. You can have internet access free of charge in the lobby for 30 minutes or take care of your business using computer. Also hotelis equipped with free WI-FI all around rooms and premises. Now let's get to the rooms! Rooms rates are not fixed, something I found a little bit problematic especially for business trips. Rooms are very small yet clean and modern with LED TV, hot water kettle, coffee and tea which are free of charge and recharged everyday. Some of the rooms have bathrooms with glass doors which are not very private!! Hotel breakfast is not included in room charges and you have to pay 13 Euro which is a little bit expensive for the service and food you will receive. I'd rather eat out instead of going to the hotel's restaurant for breakfast. if you need slippers, dental kits, razor and shaving cream you have to ask the room service cuz you cant find them in your room by default!!. I guess the hotel owes its credit mostly to its friendly front desk staff which do a great job.

Room Tip: Book a room with a more private bathroom if you're going on a bzness trip with your colleague...

I just came back form my visit in Vienna.
I choose this hotel because it is a new one and it close to a "westbanhofe" transportation center ( trains ,underground , trams).
The hotel staff was very helpful and tried to give answer on each question in a very effective way.
The rooms are a bit small but nice and clean.
If you want to be in a quiet area this is the place.

We stayed here in August of 2012 and I must say, at first I was very skeptical about the hotel considering all the bad reviews on tripadvisor but luckily we had no problems whatsoever.

The rooms were great, functional AND stylish with an adorable bathroom. The lobby is gorgeous and so is the restaurant. They had a buffet for breakfast with various dishes.

The best thing-the location!
1.)The hotel is 30 seconds away from the best and longest street in Vienna with countless shops and tons of brands. And if you go along it in about 30min (if you don't enter any of the shops) you'll arrive at the very center of Vienna.
2.)It's right across a underground train station (Westbahnhof) and from there you can basically get to any part of Vienna.

Well there isn't anything else relevant, now you just need to pack your bags and head to Hotel Leonardo!
