“In my Top 10 Vienna”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2013

Vienna is so imposing and grey, it is nice to discover a new face of it: round and colorful.

If you go by car, you can write Löwengasse 32 in your GPS because Kegelgasse is pedestrian so the GPS could get crazy. Or the metro is not too far.

This is definitely inspired by Gaudi from Barcelona.

I didn't put 5 because the colors are fading fast - this was only built in 1985 and would already require fresh paint. Don't forget to visit all the way downstairs of the small shopping center in front of the building: the WC are decorated too.

Museum about the artist 2 streets away.

“Makes you happy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2013

Had never heard of this architect before, but once I saw this house I decided I LOVE him! (P.s. take the metro to Spittelau and you also get to see probably the prettiest industrial building in the world, designed by Hundertwasser.)

“disappointed”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2013

i was looking forward to seeing this house but it was pretty rundown, let alone the tacky/touristy vibe. i would recommend the nearby Kunsthaus Wien - much more worthwhile.

“Interesting and fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013

I wasat first stunned by the view of the building. It was interesting to explore it from different angles. The restroom was even in the same style as the facade of the building itself. Surprisingly enough, they charge money to use it. Be sure to prepare the exact change!

“Fabulous architecture and colors”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

The building has a great architecture and nice colors. You are not allowed to enter the house, just see it from outside. Enter the village just opposite to the building, marvelous colors and they have special modern-art toilet with 0.8 euro.

Important Tip: I compared the souvenirs prices between various Vienna shops, and this place sells same items with the CHEAPEST prices, plus they have unique souvenirs I did not find in any other shop, highly recommended.
