My husband and I stayed at the Pension Pharmador for 5 nights in December. It was all it promised: quiet, clean, warm with friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast was also as promised, with plenty of fresh food to choose from every day.
The hotel is located on a quiet street, but has numerous restaurants near by, as well as a supermarket.
The underground is about 5 minutes walk away, so is the train station. As you get to the underground station, you will find yourself suddenly surrounded by shops, restaurants, bakeries etc. Fantastic.
The room was very clean, with a small minibar. The staff gave us a detailed map of Vienna, and there were also brochures in the room, as well as a typed page with instructions on how to get to the most famous sights from the hotel. The staff were also very willing to answer any questions we had.
We had a great time, have a lot of lovely memories, and would definately stay there again on future visits.
