“A Museum to remember”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2015 NEW

The Palace and grounds were superb the exhibits were also very impressive making this a world class Art Gallery. Despite some pictures "on Tour", the Klimt's were excellent and plentiful.

“Lovely gardens, wonderful vista”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2015 NEW

We took the U1 to Taubsummeringasse and walked from there to enter the place gardens by the palace itself. We had no intention of going into the palace, but simply enjoying the gardens. A shame that one of the main water features is currently being renovated. The view looking down into Vienna is stunning and walking through the formal gardens just reinforces the richness of the owner of the palace. Very weird Sphinx like statues all over - stunning and free. We exited ate the bottom by the orangerie and then walked along to Karlsplatz past the very impressive Soviet Memorial to the fallen of WW2. A nice walk, some great views, and completely free - makes a change.

“WOW!!!!! What a place!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2015 NEW

Make sure you start at the "ober" (upper) museum. The artwork and interior decorations and structure are amazing!! It was so exciting to see the many beautiful art pieces within the palace. Cute little café outside.

From the palace entrance you can see the fantastic views of Vienna below you. It really is beautiful.

“Triple delight”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2015 NEW via mobile

Purchase a triplex ticket for Belvedere upper, lower and Winter Paleis, the latter hosts an impressive modern art collection in the former ministry of finance headquarters and palace, whilst the former hosts the infamous Gustav Klimts 'The Kiss'

“Nice castle”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2015 NEW

I'd call it somehow the smaller brother of Schloss Schönbrunn. The castle and the garden are nice, but not as impressive as Schönbrunn. Nevertheless it is worth a short visit if you're around.
