“Maximillian 1”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012

We always go to the Albertina when we visit Vienna. This time one exhibition celebrated the life of Maximillian 1, a 16th century emperor of Austria. His view was that you had to ensure that your deeds in life made you remembered after you died and seemed a fantasist, commissioning inter alia a 100m record of a victory parade that never happened! The surviving 40m stretched around a wall in the exhibition. Lots of Durer and a great mix of information and artwork.

Also, a Picasso exhibition that we had already seen and the standing artwork that is memorable. If you've got any interest in art, don't miss it.
