“Great attraction!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

We bought the full day tickets and took all 3 of the tours. My favorite one was the city Tours run approximately every 30 minutes and have headphones which provide many different lanuages. The Ring Route was our favorite because it was in an open top bus, which was perfect for our warm September weekend. There are also two more lines included in the ticket price, the Donau Route and the Schonbrunn Route, which stop less frequent but let you experience the more distant parts of Vienna. Overall, a great attraction and at very reasonable price. A must do!

“3 separate tours”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

This is a coach tour that takes you around the many sights of Vienna. Each seat has a set of headphones which provide pre-recorded commentary and acts as your guide.

There are three tours that follow a circular route, each lasting one hour. You can take one or al of the tours. One tour cost 13 euro, two tours 16 euro, and all three tours 20 euro (October 2012).

The tours are hop on and hop off so you can break things up.

I took the tour around the centre of Vienna which takes in most of the historical sights and also the tour to the Danube River. I could not really use the hop on hop off facility as I was catching the last two tours of the day. There is a third tour which takes you to a palace outside Vienna.

It is a good introduction to Vienna if you (like me) are on a tight schedule with only a few hours to spare.

“hop on hop off”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012

I spent the 20 euros for a full day ticket and took all 3 of the tours, the red line is the best and the bus is open to the weather which may or may not be ideal for the day you are there. The blue and green line bus are air conditioned. You can get on and off as often as you like or use it to spend the day scouting the city to see what you want to see in more detail later. Tours run approximately every 30 minutes and have headphones which provide many different lanuages.

“The beauty of Vienna”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2012

Vienna, once the home to Strauss, Beethoven and Mozart blends ornate baroque architecture with an irrestible musical heritage where you can almost hear the strains of classical music as you stroll its streets. An excursion to the exquisite SCHONBRUNN PALACE is recommended. Surrounded by glorious gardens and once home to Emperor Franz Joseph and Empress Maria Theresa, this breathtaking palace is best known for its Hall of Mirrors where Mozart once played and the spectacular city frescoes of its Great Gallery.
