With two children, 9 years, and 10 month old I was happy to find a good-looking hotel with family room in the center of Vienna, at quite a good price. On our arriving the first surprise was, that the hotel is in a house, like a very big luxury apartement! That was on the 1st floor. The reception and lobby area a really time-travel, heavy carpets, lots of wood, paintings, fire-place. If you like old things, nice.
We got our room, that was appx. 20 m2, with a double bed, and a third bed. The beddig on the double bed was very clean, and new, but for the 3rd bed there was no bedding at all. When I made my booking, also asked for a baby bed, because the site offered it. At the reception they said, had no baby bed, but the baby can sleep with us, the bed is big enough, told the receptionist. My daughter never slept with us, not my son, so I asked some more blankets, and I made her sleeping place on the floor. For 92 Euros/night.
The bath is very small, Just a shower cabine and a toilet, the washing basin was at the entry area of the room.
I wished a more comfortable room, for four of us. Without children is okay, I think.
The breakfast is good, and the staff was very helpful and friendly, but travellers with samll children: no high chair!
We booked 2 nights, but after breakfast payed, and moved to Etap Saint Marx, the same price, two nice room.
