“the hotel that cares”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2014

spent four nights in this wonderful hotel ,it was like stepping back in time ,the décor was beautiful
I always use T.A. as who wants to spend precious holiday time sorting out problems
most of the time Christie was on duty who sorted all our little problems on getting around this beautiful City so much to see and her directions were brilliant even when we wanted to find the everyday shops on a wet afternoon (C&A etc.) she is a gem
We had a meal in the restaurant on our arrival the service made you feel so comfortable (first taste of the Strudel)
Room cleaned to perfection and for the money where could you get such a wonderful included breakfast a perfect start to the day and Wifi
location is perfect just walked a few minutes and you come to the trams and the metro which are so efficient (Italian restaurant nearby very good)
we purchased the Vienna card so all travel costs included plus discounts for the attractions
we will go back to Vienna and it goes without saying this is the place we will be staying

I really loved this hotel and Christa on the front desk was super polite and pleasure to deal with, prior to my arrival there had been few emails just confirming everything, were very efficient, polite, courteous and super professional!

Room was fantastic, large room on the top floor, very spacious and the electronic blinds that went up or down with room being occupied or not, was a nice touch, kept the room that bit cooler in the summer sun.

Breakfast was well equipped with full buffet, choice of everything you could want for breakfast, wish I had woken earlier so could have actually enjoyed it instead of a rushed breakfast as I was late for a meeting.

I would definitely return to Kaiserhof, was a lovely charming hotel.

Room Tip: Get room on top floor!

At the Vienna train station we got a taxi to the Best Western Premier Kaiserhof hotel. The hotel is close to the station but the cost was 15 Euros each way. The return trip was so quick being a Sunday that we thought that our driver misunderstood us. We stayed three nights at this hotel. This hotel has marble steps and an over the top breakfast that includes cloth napkins. Our room was large and very nice but we had issues with the AC the first night. We also had issues with the phone in the room trying to get help with the AC. Apparently the room temperature is limited by a computer somewhere. After tweeking the computer they sent someone to the room. The man toyed with the controls and the window then said that a part was needed and it would be replace the next day. Kudos to the night staff for a quick response. The next day our room was cooler but the unit rattled on high speed. Oh well. We had no issues with the free WiFi in our room. There also was a pull out bathtub clothesline that was very handy to dry our washing. Our included breakfast was excellent. Our favorite coffee beverages were prepared and brought to our table. There was a great selection of egg dishes, cold cuts, cheeses, juices, breads, cereals, and cold Champagne. We did not try the Champagne (now we wish we had). Not too far from this hotel we found a pub where we had happy hour wine for about 1 Euro per glass. Four Bells Irish pub. Location is Schleifmühlgasse 2.

This hotel far exceeded expectations, from the moment we arrived we experienced exceptional customer service. The room was large and nice big bath. The breakfast was the best - there was so much choice and everything very fresh and the buffet constantly being refilled. The hotel is very elegant and a delightful place to stay. Highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect location - quiet, but close to everything.
Clean large room, nice bed and bathroom.
Breakfast looked more like a brunch - champagne, 5 kinds of brie, salmon, full-size honeycomb rack, etc.
highly recommended

We stayed for three nights at this hotel and from the start it was a very enjoyable experience. We had arranged with the hotel in advance to collect us from the airport. We were greeted by a very jovial man who looked after us and we arrived to our destination safely having been told about local areas of interest on the way. The hotel itself was five star. Our room was clean and spacious and also tea and coffee facilities (perhaps more than one ordinary tea bag, there may be two tea drinkers, rather than fruit teas may be an idea). Breakfast was very good and with lots of choice. Location is great for all the main sights, just a five minute walk away. The hotel staff were very polite and very friendly . I read that the duvets we had in our room are from made raw silk and they really did keep us cool, as it was 35 degrees outside when we visited. Air conditioning in the room was good and very quiet. I am a light sleeper and I slept so well here. Thank you.

We would highly recommend this hotel as it is tucked away ( a hidden gem). Would certainly return to this hotel and recommend it to our friends and family.

My wife and I had a really great stay at hotel Kaiserhof in Vienna 4-9 July 2014.
Location of the hotel was very good, near the subway station Karlsplatz.
The hotel itself is very nice and comfortable, breakfast excellent, and before all the staff
is very nice and helpful, assisting us when we were waiting to be picked up for different tours, transfers, etc.
When we return to Vienna, we certainly want to stay at the Kaiserhof again!
