“Very good combination of hotel and hostel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2012

Very modern and comfy, suitable for young travelers, but also for couples with young children Reasonably priced. Good breakfast for fine amount. Rooms were really nice, not to big, but clean and modern. Did not like the pillows. Not sure that this place is for elder travelers, it has more of hostel atmosphere, but for younger it is almost perfect. Private parking available, a bit expensive, but like everywhere in Vienna. Location is fine too, close to strict city center. Good value. Would stay again

Very clean, lovely place. Towels and bed linen were both provided which is always a bonus when you are travelling. It had lockers in the rooms and safes that could be used opposite the reception desk. It would be good to have been able to have access to more than just the bathroom in the dorm room as you can't rely on other travellers to keep it pleasant. It struggled to figure out whether it was a hostel or a hotel but good value for money and the staff although not overly friendly were fairly helpful. I would recommend staying here as it was a good location and gave a decent nights sleep.

This hostel had amazing facilities. It even had a TV in the dorm room(only 4 english speaking channels -all of which are news channels) and decent size lockers under the beds. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was 5 euros, all you can eat, fresh fruit and ham and cheese. The hostel is located about 15 minute walk to the city centre but only a 5 minute walk to local restaurants.

Nice budget hotel, the location is not great but you can walk to the city centre in 20-25 minutes. You have a kitchen so you can buy some food in the supermarket and save the money in restaurants, but it is supposed to be clean and it wasn't. A lot of young people making noise and drinking in the lounge (it's like a youth hostel). The breakfast is great for 4 euro and Wien.

I stayed four days in a private bedroom. The place was very nice, clean and comfortable. The staff was great. The location is good, with easy access (300 mts) to the subway, and 1 block away from a tram line.
I didn't expect to find a hotel, it's more of a hostel with some additional comfort for those looking for a private room.

Convenient location under 10 minutes' walk to the U4; by public transportation 1.5 hours from the time you disembark from the plane to the time you reach the hostel entrance; less than 30 minutes away from Karlsplatz. We had a family room with a double bed, bunk bed for 2, toilet w/shower, and a TV set. Cleaned daily. Free WiFi in the lobby. Has a 24-hr guest kitchen, but only 2 small pots, 2 frying pans and 1 stove, so if someone is already cooking you may have to wait for your turn. Very attentive and helpful staff. One major downside: they take in groups whcih can be noisy at night; when we stayed there, there were a large group of Italian teenagers staying on the same floor, who were talking in the corridor and slamming doors before 2 a.m. The reception intervened, but after the guys had kept us up. No heater in the bedroom, just aircon which hums when on.

If you ever stayed in a "hotel", this place will show you what is not a "hotel".
Unfinished decoration with unpainted walls, small and seriously ugly room, sponge beds and 2 extra beds without cover for noone to sleep (we were just two persons!), groups of noisy teenagers, dirty hall, a kitchen(!) in the entrance-no restaurant (ofcourse no roomservice), don't expect to be welcomed by staff, they also don't solve any problem. And the place they called "central" is 15 min. walking distance to metro station, 2 different metro lines to reach the center, and if you are going to the airport plus one more CAT-train journey! Honestly the worst hotel we have ever been, we felt fooled, total dissapointment. If there was chance to be paid back, wouldn't even spend one min. in there. Seriously, the people comments as "central! great! wonderful!" must never been in even a 3 stars hotel, that was just a hostel. Since rooms are not coast 5 Euros a night, never recomment this hotel to anyone. ( TR: Kalabileceğiniz en kötü otellerden biridir, ücreti yüksek hostel demek daha doğru olur. Her şey ayrı ayrı kötüydü, kesinlikle tavsiye etmiyoruz.)
