Booked the hotel through a website and choose the superior room at a good price with free use of mini bar apart from Alcoholic drinks. Rooms we were given as we travelled with friends were on the top floor quiet and view of the city which was good. Rooms werenot particularly spacious but very clean and comfortbale bed. Mini bar was well stocked and as it was free we made good use of it. Breakfast was rich and you could order real capuccino or espresso rather than machine coffee. The bar of the hotel was good service and Milo the Serbian guy working there very friendly and helpful. Also reception was great. Internet free at the lobby and great transport right out of the hotel tram 11 takes you direct to the center. Vienna is a great city and Eurostars Vienna a good hotel to stop and explore. I would reccomend people to try a short break to Bratislava while in the are worths the small trip for a day. Would return to Eurostars if i ever pass by Vienna.

My husband and I stayed here in mid-December 2008 and really loved it. Our room was very clean, and big enough. We came into Vienna via train and were grateful for the big modern shower. That shower was amazing and we miss it. It was the kind with two shower heads. The hotel itself was in a pretty good location. There was a bus-stop outside but we walked every time to the U-Bahn underground which was approximately 5 minutes by foot. The staff were friendly and helpful in terms of directions and getting stuff in the room (extra towels, soaps etc). Also internet was free- just ask for the password. The free breakfast was great. Buffet style with lots of options. We ate enough to keep us going every day until dinner time. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

GOOD POINTS:

1) 55 Euros for a room and breakfast which is cheap.
2) Decent breakfast.

BAD POINTS:

1) Very dirty carpets in corridor
2) HOLES on the room floor
3) Air conditioning not working
4) Hair drayer not working
5) Receptionist with attitude
6) Tiniest bathroom ever
7) Tiny tiny room
8) Funny smell in room
9) Far from the center
10) recently renovated with poor materials which are already tired.

There are far better option for 15 more Euros in the center.

I was on a tripp in Viena until 10 to 14 dec 2008,it was great,a lot af Christmas Market at every important place,such as the University,Rathaus and so on.I was impressed about the good facilities to travel in the city: tram ,U,train.It was impossible to get lost,we have a little map with the road of the train,with a lot of explication of what you can visit. A lot of shopps,we visit SCS market,it"s easy to get there,but you don"t have time to finish it,it"s veryy big!I have an advise for you,don"t visit museum in Saturday or Sunday,it"s manny,manny people who want to do that!In Saturday,it"s open only museums and restaurants,and only SCS!I recomand to visit Viena for the athmosfere of the Christmas,for museums,for the people who are frendly,ready to help you.This hotel is very good,breakfast is no 1,the pool is good,and the gym too.You have tram or U near the hotel.When you arrived in Viena,use the CAT to go to the hotel,it:s chipper!
