It is a perfect location with a fair price. Just next to Sacher Hotel and a few steps to Cafe Mozart. Within a few minutes you are at the metro. The staff is very helpful and the room was big and clean. There is a secure box in the room. The bathroom is one of the best I've seen in Europe. It is as big as the room itself. There was free wi-fi in the room though it was slow and sometimes broken. The major problem with this hotel is garbage collector trucks in the morning. They make lots of noise in the morning and you may find yourself awake at 6 am. Ask for a silent room.

We just spend 5 nights here. The staff was quite helpful, but the noise at night was horrible!
I am not sure if it was because we were there during a holiday time or because we were
across from the casino. Our windows were over the pedestrian mall, so we thought it
wouldn't be that noisy. The breakfast buffet was good, but very pricey. they provided
gluten free bread for my spouse. I only ate there once because of price. they did
open early at least 5 am for coffee and at 7 for buffet

Room Tip: Not over the pedestrian mall area. But I don't know how the traffic noise is on the other side.

Very good location, good quality breakfast ( pricey, but not much, considering neighborhood, 0.5 liter of water- 2 euros), 3 min from Opera, 10 min from Stefandome. Friendly staff. No air conditioning, but overall, nice place to stay.

Room Tip: look room first, some of them are VERY small

I came to Vienna to see a performance in the State Opera. This hotel was a great choice as it is about two minutes of walking away from the opera house. It is located on the main shopping street which is very convenient - there are a lot of cafés and restaurants around as well. The hotel itself is clean and friendly, the equipment and furnishings are in very good condition. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is nothing bad I would say about this hotel, I can recommend it.

My favorite hotel when I am in Vienna. Big, old, luxury excellent. To the center, without noise, you can rich every central point from there walking. Rooms are comfortable, and hotel has so many amenities.
Rιch breakfast with a variety of bread and juice and marmalade, and so many many.
Polite staff, in every step you do.

This hotel is a beautiful example of an old European hotel and is located in a great area close to lots of things to see and do. However, the week we were there was very, very hot even though the weather predictions before arrival said it would not be hot. The hotel staff were very kind and offered 2 fans, but it did not help. The second night they offered a air conditioned room in their new wing. They told us not to turn off the air when we left for the day because the room would get too hot and would not be able to cool off. Unfortunately,, the maid came in while we were gone and shut it off! The room cost a lot more and we still did not have air conditioned temperature! We also had 2 huge cock roaches in the room which we found at 1 am! If not for the heat and roaches though, we really did like the hotel. I give it a 3.5. Staff could not have been kinder and even helped us with the parking since this area is not easy to find it.

Room Tip: When booking in the summer, ask for the unknown new wing that has air conditioning! Most people don...

Arrived at this hotel for 2 nights as a party of 4. The accommodation is on a corner which is adjacent to the major shopping strip in Vienna, and about 200 metres to the St.Stephens Cathedral. Upon arrival the staff spoke pleasantly in English and afforded directions to various city attractions. Their customer service couldn't be any better. The two lifts were old, and can occupy up to four in tight circumstances, hence the luggage was needed to be delivered separately by the bell hop. The room was of good size and very clean. The mattress was firm and pillows comfortable. The location was central, as I indicated to shopping areas, as well as a ten minute walk to major attractions and about 20 minute walk to a theatre where we had purchased tickets to a concert from a street vendor. The hotel, I believe was value for money and despite the lift situation was a good investment for our short stay.
