From the moment we pulled up outside to the moment we sadly had to leave there was nothing that was too much trouble for the excellent staff at the Sacher Hotel. Breakfast is superb. The quality of the hotel is second to none. We were upgraded to a Junior Suite - amazingly comfortable bed and a wonderful bathroom with lots of their Spa toiletries. Despite our room overlooking the very busy shopping street the room was totally silent. Not cheap but you definitely get value for money here. Save and treat yourselves.

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at this superb hotel. `Everything was as we had hoped for and more . The housekeeping, the breakfast and the bar Staff were all very good. The Concierge went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, making reservations for concerts and very good nearby traditional Austrian restaurants and were a pleasure to deal with. Our room was very comfortable and spacious with a lovely bathroom and toiletries and so quiet, we slept very we'll indeed. The hotel Sacher is centrally positioned and all the places we wanted to see were in a 10 or 15 minute walk away. You get what you pay for and it was well worth it. We would certainly stay there again.

i love this hotel. This wasn't my first visit and I can't wait for the next. The reassuring staff and their friendliness are to me an extension of the wonderful family who own the hotel. You'll never have a better breakfast (with Sacher Torte if you wish!). I recommend the Sacher to all!

Most of the great classic hotels around the world are now run by chains, but the Sacher has been in the same family for over 50 years. Everything is top of the mark: the rooms, the location, the housekeeping, the front desk, the bar, the lounge and (of course) the Cafe Sacher. The buffet breakfast is more than sufficient, and the host offers extraordinary service. He insisted each day on putting out a little stand to hold my briefcase while I ate.

The Sacher is quite expensive but you get what you pay for. Everyone who works there is a true professional. They're all a pleasure to deal with. This is extraordinary because (I'm not sure I'm putting this diplomatically) you come across many rude, obnoxious and pompous people in Vienna. There, I said it. But the staff at the Sacher are welcoming and offer a level of service that meets or exceeds what you'll get at top flight hotels around the world.

If I return to Vienna, I would stay nowhere else.

Room Tip: I had a beautiful junior suite. Everything was perfect, except the person who stayed next door who...

This Hotel takes you to a journey in time, it really feel like your in royal times when you stay here.
They are very nice and try to help. the fact that its so centred is surely another benefit, you can walk around from the hotel to many around places.
The rooms are very well taken care of.
Staff is very professional, they come and clean twice a day.
Love the breakfast!! Its so much more than the usual european style, each of us could find so many options to eat and really enjoy breakfast.
And lets not forget the welcoming present which is a small Sacher cake- so goofed :-) loved it!
If you get the chance don't think twice, this is simply the best hotel to stay when visiting this city.

Room Tip: have at list one meal in the restaurant of the hotel.

Not only is the hotel itself a piece of history, but it offers all the services and features of a large city center hotel, with the feel of a luxury boutique hotel.
The hotel has the feeling of Vienna itself and oozes charm and elegant grace
The location is ideal, the concierges are excellent, the service is faultless and the rooms are stunning. I cannot recommend the Sacher Wein enough.
Our room was large and luxurious with all the modern amenities. We did not use the spa, so no comments on that.

Room Tip: Get a junior suite !
