this is a hidden diamond in the rough. Amazingly friendly helpful (and english speaking) staff. A great wine list. Seasonal bohemian food in generous portions at a pleasant parkside setting, or inside amongst the quirky arty decor if you prefer. And the best thing is the food itself. Delicious hand made ravioloi that many fancy italian restaurants are too lazy for. Local meats and austrian classics like erdapfelknockerln (potao dumplings, like gnocci) - but again, here its home made not out of a packet. A wide range of house sausages and different kinds of ghoulash and a regularly changing seasonal menu. But all for half the price of most places in vienna. And the bread: you've got to try the home made bread!!
I cam here regularly with my international colleagues,as well as bringing family here, and we all agreed its the best restaurant in vienna, no competition.
