Wien Museum has two parts: one part is the permanent exhibition of evolution of the city of Vienna which is very good and quite easy to understand.
The second part is the special exhibition, and now I have seen three of them: 2006 ("Erich Boltenstern und die Baukultur nach 1945"), 2008 ("Wo die Wuchtel fliegt -
Legendäre Orte des Wiener Fußballs" and 2012 ("Werkbundsiedlung Wien 1932 -
Ein Manifest des neuen Wohnens") - all three of them have been very interesting, because they are well documented and go into the depth with special parts of the city's history,
I can only recommend everyone interested in history and Vienna to go visit the museum, I will definitely go back next time I am in Vienna.
