We found this restaurant by accident. We reached at about 9.15 pm, the outdoor seats were all taken, and we settled for seats inside the hall. The atmosphere of the restaurant was good, giving that "aged" feeling.
The restaurant has an English menu, and we have no problem ordering. The tomato soup we ordered was thick and creamy. The beef stew was soft, tender and juicy. The grilled chicken that we order was not so good. The prices are slightly higher than what we are used to, but not too expensive.
Our good experience in the restaurant was slightly spoilt by the cashier though. Our bill came to about 92 euro, we paid with a 100 euro note, and the waiter just walk off and kept the change. As we could not speak German, we left it at that, but was totally taken aback by this experience. Throughout our stay in Vienna, this had never happen before.
