“Great dessert/outdoor terrace”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2013

We tried two different desserts here (a chocolate truffle cake and a strawberry pound cake) and both were fantastic! Also had some coffee with ice cream. It's a bit expensive (20 euro for all that) but it was super tasty. They also have a large outdoor seating area which is great in the summer.

“Vienna at it's finest!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

Loved this busy Konitorei near St. Stephen's Cathedral. The staff spoke excellent English and were very gracious as I attempted their language. We had lovely and beautiful looking ice cream dishes as well as a great ham roll. Great location, very crowded but worth going to. Beautifully displayed cakes inside the restaurant. Definitely recommend this to anyone going to Vienna.

“busy little cafe”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

Cakes in here are wonderful and there are several options which are labelled gluten free. We also had a very good strawberry milkshake with icecream in it.
The outside seating area was full when we visited, the front shop gets crowded, and is the place to look at a magnificent display of cakes. People were queuing to buy them in boxes. There is a small cafe area at the back and another up spiral staircase.
Staff are rushed, but pleasant.
There are several Oberlaa in Vienna but we didn't get the chance to try another branch.

“A fascinating Konditorei”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

This Konditorei was just in front our hotel and we made 2 breakfast a 1 tea break. We have found very good cakes. We tested: Sacher, Topfenstrudel, Apfelstrudel, Apfelstreusel, Topfen-Frucht all about €3,50 each, Pariser Spitz and Laakronen ( a small cookie at several taste, also called Macarons) ; all well done: Coffee espresso and cappuccino was also fine too. So if you haven’t breakfast in your Hotel or just for a break, this Konditorei is ok because have even same small savoury snack. http://www.oberlaa-wien.at/patisserie.html
