“Outstanding Food and Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013

Absolutely amazing meal on a Monday night in February. Friendly and welcoming, we chose to let the sommelier offer us a glass of appropriate Austrian wine with each course so had a nice chat with her and learnt about the wines as well. Food was an absolute picture and delicious. A real treat.

“Extremely disappointing”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2013

Thought and expected this restaurant would be fabulous as it was listed in our guidebook but it was the WROST meal we ever had.The 3 of us strugggled to find anything on the menu we could eat.Service was slow and poor and the food was lukewarm. We didn't leave a tip so that says it all.Not worth a visit in my opinion.

“Mostly excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2012

THE GOOD: fantastic value lunch menu for EUR 19 (incl. cover charge) with pre-starter; bread with flavoured butter, oil and infused salts; starter; main; sorbet; petit fours; all correctly cooked and beautifully presented

THE NOT SO GOOD: disappointing decor; flavours could be stronger on some dishes; doesn't really live up to what you expect from the phrase "aroma cuisine", although everything is cooked well, it could do with losing things like flavourless foams

THE BAD: tasteless hotel-breakfast-style coffee masquerading as espresso; pricey drinks

THE TRULY EXCELLENT: the service is outstanding (in German or English), easily matching michelin-starred eateries and without the tiniest hint of snobbishness

OVERALL: for a taste of fine dining and a true sense of pampering without a price tag to match, this is certainly worth a visit

“surprising”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2012

Little restaurant in the Ring hotel. The athmosphere doesnt do right to the food which was very well presented and very good. The service and the food were of a top restaurant its a shame that the restaurant found a home that doesnt compare with the food.
