“Disappointing hotel staff”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2013

we stayed in junior suite which was very spacious and nice. Breakfast is so-so, but hotel staff is horrible. Almost everyone of them are young Spanish people, without/poor English language knowledge, very brassy and arrogant. Parking lot in hotel garage is not free, it cost 40€ per night. When we asked for discount `cause we were hotel guests they rejected are inquiry.
Good thing is that hotel is not far away from underground station (7-10 min) and they have free WiFi connection in suites. Housekeeping is poor.
At the and everything would be better if staff were professional, not like amateurs.

Stayed here for one night on business so review is based on pretty much first impressions! Location was good for me - short walk to my customer, area seemed pleasant, shops restaurants etc.

Reception bright clean and friendly (free WIFI).

Room was a reasonable size, comfy bed, Facing onto the main road, which meant with window open was very noisy. Bathroom was as you would expect, except for a worrying hole in the wall at ground level (see picture), now I’m fairly certain this isn’t a mouse hole but I couldn’t say for sure. Either way I think they need to fix it, made me wonder what else I hadn’t noticed around the building.

The other area needing to be addressed was breakfast, very poor, not much selection and what was there wasn’t really very appetising and you are effectively sitting in reception to eat it.

Room Tip: If you like to sleep with a window open, avoid the rooms facing th emain road

Clean, well connected to city center, free WI FI. Comfortable beds, fair spacious room. Very friendly staff, always ready to explain anything that can help you. Although busy street nearby, very good phonic insulation. Central ventilation could be better, but luckily good weather permitted direct window ventilation. Breakfast and bath cosmetics also could be better and more various.
Nice outside view, with classic buildings.
Across street, nice Italian restaurant.

Room Tip: Higher floors have better view and less street noise

The hotel is a nice contemporary place. I made a reservation trough the hotel site for April 19 for about 80 euro with my credit card. We decided to stay for a second night, the price went up to 120 euro. I put my car in the garage (very narrow) for security, but the garage door was not working.
I was not familiar of their billing system and at the check out the clerk was agitated, giving me a long speech about her experience.
Otherwise this hotel is OK.

Bus stop right in front of the hotel, so it is very easy to reach the city centre. U3 metro line within walking distance (Jochusgasse). Room was clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable. Room for clothes. No variation in breakfast. Staff were a little reserved. Public computer right in the side of the service desk, anyone could watch what you were doing. Shops and restaurants are near.

We were so shocked when we walked into our room....we had a panoramic view out of a wall of windows that curved around 75% of our room!!! The room was beautiful and appeared to have been recently refurbished. Very modern and classy decor, including the bathroom which felt like a spa! Good location and easy access to the underground.Although we were in Vienna we were tempted to spend half of the day staring out our wall of windows! No complaints, although the staff wasn't the friendliest and were never able to connect to the internet like promised. Regardless, would stay in this hotel if returning to Vienna, and would highly recommend it!
