Beds: stand out as they are perfect - in size and comfort. you dont want to get up actually

Breakfast: after a week it slowly gets difficult to 'find new combinations' on the buffet - but i guess one in general tends to eat the same thing anyway.. love the fresh orange juice machine!

Service: a great team that really moves swiftly to get guest satisfied, drawback for them is the kitchen - they struggle getting the timing right somehow - especially for the house guest menu flow

wellness: a new steam bath will hopefully be their next investment

location: cant get any better than that - especially for kids in ski school!!

the owner: omni-presently rules the hotel and hands on admirable woman! if you need her 6am, you will find her!

overall: amazing place - highly recommendable

Room Tip: rooms facing any direction are good, of course you'd like the Hahnenkamm view

This is the second year we've come to this amazing gem of a hotel. We raved about it so much last year that this time when we booked 6 other friends with their families joined us! We were a big group needless to say with 14 kids in tow.
No problem at all! Frau Signe who owns the hotel and her team cared for our every need. From the moment we booked wit h Ms. Varena in reception the scene was set for an amazing 10 days of fabulous family time in an enchanting setting. We were warmly welcomed back and it felt like coming home, everyone remembered us from the year before and the whole hotel has a very familial ambiance. The Rasmushof really make everything as easy and stress free as possible. Skis are organized in a near by ski rental shop and brought back to the hotel minutes later. Ski passes organized in reception, ski school- Element 3 at the back door. You can be on the slope the same day you arrive if you want to. Food is top notch and varied, which is important when you are on half board. Breakfast to die for, lovely lunch on the terrace or in the Stube where Karen always takes care of you. Après ski is made easy as children playing in the snow or sledging can easily be watched by adults on the terrace enjoying a gluhwein, that Peter in the bar serves with panache. Afterwards you can decamp to the lovely pool/sauna area to relax.

Kids –all 14 were catered for at 6pm for super yummy dinner. If some were too tired to come to the dining room it was no problem to have kids meals served in the rooms. Flexibility is key when you have little ones in tow. Hotel organized amazing local babysitters who came every night, some even brought toys and games for the kids to play with. This allowed for all adult dinners in the ambient dining area, where Peter served us with a smile every night.

The staff at Rasmushof go above and beyond to take care of you. They really care- you are treated as a friend or family member rather than a person staying in their hotel and this is all due to the amazing owner Frau Signe who runs a tight ship. She has her finger on the pulse of everything that goes on, she is tirelessly there from early morning till late night with a smile on her face. Her service-oriented attitude is reflected by all the amazing staff.

This was the perfect holiday and we rebooked on the spot for next year.

Room Tip: All the rooms we saw we would stay in! Clean and well appointed and quiet.

I just stayed at this hotel and thought how great it was. We took our son skiing for the first time and this hotel is located right on the slopes, making everything so much easier. You can just walk out of the boot room and you are at the bottom of the piste. There was also a kids ski-school behind the hotel on once side and then just across the slope was another ski school and this one allowed you to use their 'magic carpet' for free, even though we weren't using the school. Then my husband was able to ski down the nursery slope with my son between his legs, although his favourite thing was just to ski from my husband to me, right outside the hotel. It was hard work for us, carryig him between us, but it was worth it to see the enjoyment he got from it.

There was another free lift as well, which took you up to a blue run, so we didn't end up having to buy a lift pass at all, as this was enough for us, having a 2 year old with us! There was also a 'Ski-Rental Michael' shop, just near the hotel. It took about 5 mins walk to get there and then they fitted us up with boots and skis and then imediately drove us and our equipment in their van up to the hotel, so we could begin straight away and this was a great service :)

This trip would have been far less enjoyable if we had stayed at a hotel further away from the slope and had to take a bus or walk carrying all the things and my son if he decided not to walk, which he often does!

We had a really friendly welcome from the reception team, especially Verena, when we arrived and we got a lovely spacious room, overlooking the piste.

All the staff were really friendly and a particular mention to Thomas at the bar where we sat for lunch for the 3 days we were there and Elsa, who looked after us at breakfast. It was so lovely that these people were so thoughtful to the need of us and our son, for example, we ordered hot chocolate and instantly both Thomas and Elsa volunteered more cold milk for our little man, to ensure he could drink it straight away and got him an extra cushion as he didn't want to sit in a hight chair - just little thoughtful touches without being prompted that gave me a feeling that these people actually cared about you having the best possible time. The food at the breakfast buffet was also great and we loved the Goulash soup at lunchimes!

Wolfgang, the manager of the restaurant in the evening was also great, as were all of the servers and the food was really delicious. The restaurant also had a cozy feel to it and it was so relaxing to sit there and soak up the atmosphere. Again, they took care of my little man, bringing him dinner as soon as possible as he was hungry and they had a good range of kids food.

We had the pleasure of meeting the owner as well, a lovely lady, and she was always seen around and about, checking that everyone was having a good experience at the Rasmushof. It is nice that this place is family owned, as it does make them want to ensure all is ok rather than a hotel chain.

There was also a gorgeous swimming pool overlooking the slopes and saunas and steam rooms too, which was great to use when our skiing was done for the day.

Everything was also so clean and well maintained and presented. We had a really lovely 3 days there.

Needless to say we will definately be returning to this hotel and hopefully sometime soon! I would totally recommend it.

Just back from a weeks stay in the Rasmushof. From start to finish everything exceeded our expectations. On check in we were greeted by Verena and Signe Reich herself. Both of whom were so welcoming and friendly. We were then shown around the hotel and brought to our amazing, idyllic room overlooking the mountain. Verena sorted out all our ski passes and ski classes so everything was organized with ease and no stress! The proximity to the slopes is unbeatable- this hotel is literally ski in-ski out! We had opted for the half board option..and were so glad we did. The food was just gorgeous it literally got better each night. They had a tyrolean buffet on the tuesday and a fondue night on the friday and a beautiful selection of traditional Austrian Cuisine every night in between. The waiting staff were exceptional all so professional and helpful. There was a lovely bar located in the hotel and there was always a lovely atmosphere apres ski. The main town was just a 5 minute walk away. It was one of the best weeks we have ever had on holidays and are already looking forward to returning next year. Just perfect!!

A fantastic property well located at the bottom of the ski runs in Kitzbuhel. It is a ski in ski out property and the Element3 ski school is just across the driveway to the Hotel. Our interconnecting corner suite was perfect for our family of five and the facilities were great. Being beginners we appreciated the proximity of the magic carpet, nursery slopes and the Tbar which are all free. we enjoyed the extensive breakfast, the friendly staff and the indoor pool and sauna at the end of the day. We also had some great meals at the restaurant, fondue one night, Tyrol Buffett and ala carte the next. Special mention to Verena at the front desk and the ever present Mrs Reisch who ensured that our stay exceeded our expectations.

Room Tip: Corner suites large and great view of the slopes

This nine hole executive golf course had beautiful views and was well maintained. Some parts provided quite a little workout (everyone walks the course). The course is located at the end of the downhill run famous for the Hahnenkamm ski race. The club house was great as well - with friendly staff and good beer.

This charming hotel is up there with the best in the town. I've stayed in the Kitzhof, Bichhof and Schwarzer Adler over the last 8 years and it's one of my new favourites. The staff at friendly, the rooms well appointed and the food great. There's a good spa with a decent sized pool and both sauna and steam. It's situated right at the foot of the Hannenkahn run so you can ski directly in or, ski across the field from the lift. The outdoor bar is lovely at the end of the afternoon - big sofas are covered in reindeer skins and you can wrap up in blankets. The chocolate cake is to die for and there's an excellent selection of high quality Austrian wines. Top pick.

Room Tip: All have good views.
