Just returned from a fantastic week at the Hotel Jagerwirt. I couldn't fault anything. Alex and his team went well out of their way to make sure everyone was happy.
On arrival we were given a very warm welcome at reception.
The room we were allocated was on the front of the building. It was spacious and very comfortable. The rooms were also very quiet and lovely and warm.
The food and choice couldn't have been better and the dining room staff were great nothing was too much trouble and were always smiling and they all looked genuinly pleased to see you each evenin
Very comfortable bar and lounge area with the option of another sports bar for live sport coverage.
As a non skier I loved the spa and swimming pool as most days I was the only person relaxing their which was wonderful.
So many thanks Alex you really do make your guests welcome

Jagerwirt Hotel-Kitzbuhel
Returned on 12th January 2009 from a simply brilliant week at the Jagerwirt Hotel. Alex and Bridget were superb hosts and all the staff and there are English, Italian, German and Austrian were all excellent.
We had a room at the front of the hotel and our bathroom had a full shower and screen, bath and was clean and modern. I think the hotel is on with a replacement programme for all the rooms.
The room was clean and tidy and very warm with a balcony big enough for about 10 people.
The hotel is about 10 minutes walk, which wakes you up, to the main gondola to get on the mountain and there is a ski bus stop right outside.
The food was excellent throughout the week and the evening meal selections included, beef, venison, perch and traditional Austrain food. The soups especially were just superb.

We spent time in the Londoner and Flanaghans bar but the hotel bar, Sigi's , was a great place to drink, chill out and relax. The hotel had entertainment most nights. Raf, Ben and Andria behind the bar were great company and kept the nights moving.

If you want a good quality hotel, excellent service, clean warm and tidy rooms and lovely food then this is the hotel for you. We are already looking at booking and going back next year, it was that good.!!!!

Have just returned from a weeks skiing in Kitzbuhel. This hotel is a great place to stay! Agree with the last comments, very tradiational and as usual in Austria, great food and plenty of it and fantastic service.
The rooms are what we expected from staying elsewhere in Austria, large and great views. Yes the bathrooms are not boutique style but that is what you get. The only tiny critisicm from a shower lover is the lack of one, and the shower head has no attactchment and shower curtain non existent.
However the hotel is fantastic and would certainly recommend, 8 minute walk to main hannenkahm gonodala and 5 minute taxi to kitbuheler horn gondola.

Just returned from Kitzbuhel after spending Christmas there - having stayed at the Tieffenbrunner the previous year knew pretty much what to expect in terms of food, decor, hospitality etc and it was as expected. Our room was larger then we thought and our son had a single which all things considered was good value for money. I agree the bathrooms perhaps were not as we would expect but they were large and clean and had plenty of clean towels, if you want boutique style hotels dont go to Kitzbuhel it is what it says it is - true Austrian village unspoilt and very friendly. The Jagerwirt had all facilities you would want and the attached bar was perfect for our son to spend the evening playing pool with the locals it gave him the freedom a teenager wants. Enjoy the hotel for what it has to offer and dont complain it is after all an Austrian hotel, if you want what I said before all the nice little touches stop in England!!!! and have your large shower and proper sausages.
