We were greeted upon arrival by the front desk receptionist, Lisa, with a friendly hello and an explanation that our room was not ready yet, but we could leave our bags and explore the town. We did just that and when we returned our room was ready and our bags were already in it. Our room was beautiful, almost entirely paneled in carved cedar that smelled wonderful. The hallways and stairwell were decorated with paintings and carvings as well.
The waitstaff were pleasant and attentive, especially Roland, and the buffet breakfast was always delicious. We stayed with half-board, where breakfast and dinner are provided by the hotel and the dinners left much to be desired. I would have preferred traditional Tyrolian food.
The room was very clean and the hotel's location can't be beat.
