“Bad experience on a lovely ski weekend”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

Myself and my boyfriend had dinner at Chizzo during our recent weekend on a ski trip. It was not a good experience. Waitress was not very nice to us and we felt like a nuicence. I ordered chicken caesar salad as I do on a regular basis when I am out to dinner. The chicken was rock hard and inedible and I left it on the plate. It Must have been reheated in the microwave.. When I pointed out that I could not eat the chicken the waitress shrugged her shoulders. when the bill arrived the full price was listed and she would not subtract the inedible chicken. She Said there was nothing she could do so I was very upset.

“Up market trattoria type of restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013 via mobile

The restaurant is quite large but on weekends will probably require reservation. Having eaten enough Austrian food we opted for the limited Asian (Thai) selection and were not disappointed. The soup and the mixed starters were tasty, freshly prepared and well presented. Main courses lacked the same delicacy.

“Good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

I don;t want to oversell. Its was a good restaurant, a good meal, good service, but it did not jump out as the most unique. For the value, it was very good, kind of tucked in behind a street bar where the ski school congregates, good traditional food and a fair price.

“A Pleasant, comfortable place with good food and service.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

"Chizzo" as it is locally called, is a good restaurant that serves a variety of international foods. The Austrian food is good-schnitzels etc. In a way it's like a better version of TGIF. I have never had a bad meal here. Nice selection of wines and beers and they have an outdoor eating area in summer and a small but friendly outdoor bar year round. A great place to people watch in Kitzbuhel town.
