The brochure promised me "inside, you enter into a dream." Well they weren't wrong there, trouble is that this kind of dream comes from eating dodgy forest fungus.
We paid our 8 euros entry and entered through the 'giant's mouth' into the exhibition and were instantly plunged into darkness. If you are unsteady on your feet or suffer from claustrophobia then I would not recommend you visit.
I had expected displays of how crystals were formed or how they are turned into jewellery and objects of desire. What I got was bizarre and consisted of: a zebra in a stiletto (yes, really!) a mish mash of art that looked like leftovers from a municipal gallery and finally after blundering my way through the crowds I emerged into the shop. The whole experience is very disappointing, not worth your money. Stay in Innsbruck instead, go to the Crystal World shop and browse there without paying.
