“Old but decent.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013

Stayed here one night in the beginning of July 2013. We were a family of 4 traveling together and needed a big room as we where passing by Innsbruck on our way south. The hotel has a nice location, within walking distance from the old city centre. The hotel is a bit worn, but has a bit of charm to it. Rooms are large, with comfortable beds, and they are clean. Our room also had a TV-set and Wi-Fi free of charge. There is free parking in the back yard. The airport is not far from this hotel and aircraft approaching, traffic and other noises woke us up quite early as the rooms are not very well sound isolated. The breakfast is included and was pretty much standard.

Room Tip: Try to get a room not facing the main road outside the hotel. No matter what room you chose there ar...

Nice little hotel in good location, close to station and city centre.
Rooms are small, no AC, mini bar or tea/coffee maker, we had very hot weather so had windows open, problem was two pubs across road which was handy for a drink but was very noisy till late as locals like to drink. Continental breakfast was very good, boiled eggs cooked perfectly.
Great city.

The hotel is located about a 15 walk from the old town & 5 min from the shopping. Interior is getting dated & floors squeak. Romm was quite large . We got some noise from the floor above. Breakfast was basic but adequate. Staff were helpful but could learn to smile more often. Free parking & free wifi are an added bonus. Generally clean with some mildew in the shower. It was always a challenge getting the shower screen to close. Still good value for money.

Room Tip: The hotel has an elevator so upper levels are not a problem. Rooms on the carpark side seem to have...

We only stayed here one night on our way to Munich, but we enjoyed our short stay. We had to take a taxi from and to the train station but the city centre is a 10 min walk. Breakfast was good and the staff friendly.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2013

We only stayed here one night on our way to Italy, but we enjoyed our short stay. Parking is free and convenient. The room was huge! We have stayed in some small rooms recently so we were pleasantly surprised. We had a triple room with a small seating area. If you are a light sleeper you may have some trouble falling asleep as the hotel is older and you can really hear people moving about in the rooms near you. There was also a good bit of mold in the shower. Other than that I can't complain about anything. The receptionist was helpful with a map and the hotel is a short walk from the downtown area. There is a lovely park to stroll through on your way there. We didn't have a ton of time to look around, but what we did see was beautiful. If you're looking for a short get away I would highly recommend the hotel and the town.

We stayed just one night, but found it to be very, very clean and quite comfortable. The hotel was very accomodating as far as the fact that we had 3 adults and 2 children staying in one room. They made us very comfortable. We all enjoyed the European-style breakfast, and appreciated the free parking, too. It is certainly walkable to the old part of town, but if you don't enjoy walking or can't walk too far, it could be a bit of a hike.

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night and we were especially interested in the free parking and the breakfast. The location itself was not that important for us since we did not plan on visiting the historic down town.
The parking is fairly small and I am not sure that all guests can park their car on the hotel's ground, although additional spots can be found in the nearby dead end street. The people at the reception desk speak fluently English and are very helpful.
The room was very big, with three large beds and a sitting area (built in benches in a bow window). The bathroom is also very large and spotless. All windows had shutters which is agreeable if you like to sleep in the pitch darkness. We heard airplanes coming over early in the evening but we were not bothered by them later in the evening or during the night.
Breakfast is everything you can expect from an Austrian breakfast (cured ham, cheese, fresh fruits and rolls, coffee and tea, etc).

Room Tip: If possible ask for a room away from the main street, traffic (especially snow clearing equipment) c...
