I think this was the most enjoyable meal out we had in out few days in Innsbruck. No reservation but no problem. Got a nice corner table so didn't feel exposed in the middle of the room. Quiet Austrian music in the background that i swear I had heard somewhere before - in an old film. Anyway, really good service. Very friendly. Really nice food of Austrian variety. I wasn't sure whether I could take another evening of heavy meat etc but this was very nicely cooked and presented. I had the house bratwurst mit sauerkraut und kartoffel. My wife had the pork schnitzel and mixed salad. Chardonnay was nice enough too. As we've found everywhere in Innsbruck, staff were helpful, friendly and wearing an approximation of authentic Austrian attire (my approximation I guess). In summary then, good atmosphere, good staff, good good and NOT overly pricey. Winning combination.
