We stayed in this lovely little Hotel-Pension for three days and really enjoyed every single day there. The Adlerhof is a turn-of-the-century building (built in 1900) which seems a little unusual regarding its "urban" (Salzburg is such a village you can hardly talk of urban) surroundings. Although our room had newly been renovated, was spacious and looked very nice.
As the other posters have already mentioned, it was a 10 - 15 minutes walk to the sights, but as the train station is close to the Adlerhof, it was very easy to reach the public bus to travel to the beautiful Lake District.
The staff was very helpful and knew a lot about what to see and what to do. Also how and what to explore on our own. Great compliment!!
We will for sure stay again at the Adlerhof, if we once come back to Salzburg!
